Malinska

Malinska is a picturesque littoral tourist locality situated along the coast of a wooded bay on the island of Krk. Numerous beaches, a great number of sunny days and a Mediterranean climate have made Malinska an ideal place for heath tourism, and have been attracting visitors for more than a century. There are still lively traces of the past – the sounds of sopile (kind of long flute), preserved folk songs "kanat na tanko i debelo" that, along with the folk dances in old colourful folk costumes enable you to escape, at least for a while, from the everyday routine. The variety of available sports-recreational facilities will satisfy both the youngest and the oldest visitors. Moments spent on hotel sports grounds or practicing some of the water sports is great fun not only for beginners but also for trained sportsmen. A special attraction in this littoral resort, which has managed to preserve the features of a fishermen's village, is represented by tasting the local culinary specialties.
