Vrbnik
A rock overlooking the sea, a town on the rock – Vrbnik. It is one of the oldest towns on the island of Krk, the cradle of literacy in Croatia, with the narrowest street in the world, the Frankopan castle, historical churches and chapels. To those fond of swimming and sun-bathing Vrbnik offers the cleanest sea. Gastronomic connoisseurs know Vrbnik for its restaurants, taverns and wineries which impress even the most demanding gourmand. Vrbnik vineyards and the local wine Vrbnička Žlahtina are famous far and wide.
