Jadranovo

Once a small fishermen's and bricklayers' village, Jadranovo is situated on the sea coast and nowadays attracts guest with the beauty of unspoilt nature, silence, crystal clear sea, varied beaches, bays and promenades in the pine forest close to the coast. The favourite tourist destination is the Lokvišće Bay, a valuable architectural site dating back to Roman times, with curative mud, and the Church of Sv. Jakov (St. James). There are neither hotels in the village nor big architectural edifices. Only private accommodation is available, in modern and well equipped family houses. Jadranovo is a quiet oasis and the Mecca of weekenders. All the year-round, numerous cultural and entertainment events take place in Jadranovo.
