In summer Medveja, the small fishermen's village on the Opatija Riviera, becomes the most attractive bathing resort on the Kvarner coast, owing to its marvelous pebble beach. The camp offers accommodation for 1200 persons and 173 beds in bungalows (from 1st April to 15th October). In private accommodation I and II category rooms and apartments are available. Food in restaurants – fixed menus and á la carte, and in the tavernas "Punta" and "Kali".  Medveja offers the opportunity for taking walks, for resting and recreation.
