Trieste gentian, cowslip primrose; plenty of mushrooms, especially boletes

littoral beech forest, to a lesser extent forest of hop hornbeam and planted conifers
– black pine, fir and spruce
Lisina is a protected karst wooded landscape in the mountainous areas of Ćićarija,
next to the Učka Nature Park. It has a long tradition of being visited by day-trippers.
The forest resources of the mountain have always attracted the local inhabitants as
well, who were traditionally busy collecting firewood, burning charcoal and hunting
edible dormice.
