PRESIDENT OF THE KVARNER COUNTY TOURIST BOARD (TB)

The President of the Kvarner County Tourist Board, prof. Vidoje Vujić PhD, performing the duties of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Perfect is also the President of TB Assembly and the President of TB Tourism Council.

President of the Tourist Board:

• represents the Tourist Board, 
• convenes and presides over TB Assembly, 
• convenes and presides over TB Tourism Council,
• organizes, coordinates and harmonizes the work and activities of the Tourist Board in accordance with the law, this Statute and work program of the Tourist Board,
• ensures the legal and timely execution of the tasks of the Tourist Board,
• launches and takes care of TB co-operation with other tourist boards and other bodies with common interests,
• in charge of the preparation of TB Assembly and Tourism Council meetings,
• signs the decisions and other documents adopted by TB Assembly and Tourism Council, 
• performs other tasks stipulated by TB Assembly and Tourism Council acts.

KVARNER COUNTY TB ASSEMBLY

Tourist Board Assembly consists of representatives of tourist boards of cities, towns, and municipalities in the area of Kvarner.

Tourist Board Assembly:

1. adopts the Statute of the Tourist Board,
2. decides on the selection and dismissal of the members of the Tourism Council,
3. decides on the selection and dismissal of the members of the Supervisory Board,
4. adopts an annual work program of the Tourist Board,
5. adopts the financial plan and annual financial report of the Tourist Board,
6. appoints and dismisses honorary members of the Tourist Board at the proposal of the Tourism Council,
7. decides on the establishment and organization of the Tourist Office,
8. elects TB representatives in the Parliament of the Croatian National Tourist Board,
9. adopts the Rules of Procedure of TB Assembly,
10. gives authorities the initiatives for the adoption of laws and regulations,
11. discusses and takes positions on major issues arising from the tasks of the Tourist Board and proposes measures and actions for their implementation,
12. accepts the annual report and decides on other matters when provided by law and this Statute.

KVARNER COUNTY TB TOURISM COUNCIL

Tourism Council is the executive body of the Assembly of the Kvarner County Tourist Board composed of the President and ten members. TB Assembly elects eight of them from among members of the Tourist Board, taking into account the territorial representation and representation of activities in tourism. The Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE) and the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts appoint one member each from among their members. The President of the Tourist Board is also the President of the Tourism Council.

Tourism Council of the Tourist Board (TB):

1. implements the decisions and conclusions of TB Assembly,
2. suggests basic guidelines, annual work program, TB financial plan and the annual financial report to the Assembly,
3. submits a report on its activities to TB at least once a year,
4. manages TB property in accordance with the law, this Statute, work program and the financial plan, 
5. adopts by-laws for TB professional service,
6. appoints and dismisses the director of the Tourist Office following a public tender,
7. requests and reviews the report of the Director of the Tourist Office on their work and Tourist Office operations and makes a decision on acceptance or rejection of this report. 
8. prepares proposals and issues opinions on matters decided by TB Assembly,
9. decides on the use of funds for construction, renovation and purchase of business premises in accordance with the financial plan,
10. adopts by-laws not passed by TB Assembly, 
11. encourages collaboration with other tourist boards and other legal and natural persons who are directly or indirectly involved in the tourist trade, 
12. adopts the Rules of Procedure of the Tourism Council, 
13. determines the limits of the authority to represent the Tourist Board and dispose of TB funds,
14. gives the authority to represent the Tourist Board in case the Director is absent,  
15. appoints one member to the Supervisory Board of the Tourist Board of the municipality and town, 
16. makes decisions and performs other duties within their scope.

KVARNER COUNTY TB SUPERVISORY BOARD

The Supervisory Board supervises the Tourist Board.
TB Supervisory Board is composed of five members, of which four are appointed by TB Assembly and one by the Tourism Council of the Croatian National Tourist Board. The Supervisory Board members should be selected from among all members of the Tourist Board.

At least twice a year the Supervisory Board supervises the following:

1. TB administration 
2. material and financial operations and disposal of TB assets
3. execution and implementation of TB work program and financial plan.
