At exactly 18:00 hours, the Croatia Rally 2012 started. Starting with number one, Juho Hanninen from Finland went first, followed by Iliev from Bulgaria and Gassner Jr from Germany. From the Croatian crew, Juraj Šebalj was first to set out. The ceremonial start brought in a gathering of representatives from the city of Rijeka, our county and main sponsor INA.
After the driving down the starting ramp they headed towards Učka on the Istrian side and continued on the Permani special stage. They drove both special stages twice.
The best time was achieved by Juho Hänninen, as expected.
On today’s schedule there are special stages called Platak, Lokve and "super stage" Preluk. We invite everyone to come and cheer for their favourites. May the best man win!
