Events calendar

Every year, in the first week of October, the city of Rijeka gets taken over by puppets and their puppeteers during the Puppet Theatre Festival. Since 1996, with the organisation of the Rijeka City Puppet Theatre, the Festival has hosted a range of Croatian and foreign puppet and children’s theatres from Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia, etc.

The programme includes 12 puppet shows that will take place at 3 different locations: in the Rijeka City Puppet Theater, in the Croatian Cultural Center in Sušak, and in a brand new Children's House.
