Travel to Taste Krk - Spring Edition

Promotional campaign "Travel to Taste Krk" wants to introduce you to the authentic island flavors, locally grown ingredients, and specialties that will remain in your memory as part of your unique experience in the city of Krk.

This spring, your gastronomic experience in the city of Krk will be enhanced by: the restaurant "Casa del Padrone", restaurant "Marina Blue", "Volsonis", House of Krk's Prosciutto, tavern "Pud Brest" and tasting room "Magriž".

These eateries procure their ingredients from local producers or grow them themselves, allowing them to take full advantage of the fresh flavors in their kitchens, thus providing a uniquely positive experience for their guests.

"Travel to Taste Krk" starts on the first day of April and lasts until mid-May.

It is a must to try classic specialties such as homemade šurlice pasta with lamb stew, lamb belly with polenta and grated homemade sheep cheese, or šurlice pasta with prawns and prosciutto. For those who want to try new combinations, there is swordfish on a lentil cream with black polenta, ice cream with Krk's prosciutto or lamb sauté with artichokes and šurlice!

Restaurants which are part of this promotional campaign have also prepared special promotional menus on which you will find: Adriatic shrimp tartar, homemade squash soup, pancakes with cottage cheese or lamb tongue carpaccio with walnut and milk foam, egg yolks of quail eggs from organic farming, and infused apple cream, which is part of the complex menu of the Academy of Lamb Flavor.
