On Saturday, September 16, at the Slatina camp, in Martinšćica on the Cres Island, the Canicross Croatia race will be held for the first time, in which owners and their dogs participate. Canicross is a young but very popular discipline in Croatia that promotes a healthy life, being in nature and responsible ownership. This discipline became popular in the world in the 2000s, and in 2003 the first world championship was held. The Canicross League consists of several races, and the race of the 4th round of the Canicross League will be held on Cres.

This year, for the first time, the camp is organizing a unique Canicross race, a race of dogs with their owners over a length of 5 km. Registration for the race will take place immediately before the race, on September 16th from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., while the race itself starts at 6 p.m.
