In the Drgomalj area north of the town of Delnice is Hajdova hiža, the biggest, but hardly accessible Gorski kotar cave.

Tourists are not allowed, but just because of this it represents a true challenge for professional pot-holers. The quite vast entrance, considered as the biggest underground hall discovered in our Karst area (85 metres long, 27 metres wide and some 16 metres high) gives only an illusion of easy passage, since the way then proceeds leading to extremely steep rocks and deep, still unexplored channels.
