Summer on Louisiana and Carolina

The event is organized each summer, from June through September, comprising a series of events and countryside walks following the historic roads that have lost importance after modern motorways had been constructed.
The programme starts in Opatija and crosses the famous historic caravan paths of Louisiana and Carolina i.e. passes through the Gorski Kotar centres of Lokve, Delnice, Brod na Kupi, Fužine, Mrkopalj, Ravna Gora, Skrad, Vrbovsko....
The objective of this interesting manifestation is to promote the many, almost forgotten, historic, cultural and natural attractions of these areas.
