The Frog Museum in Lokve is one of the most innovative Gorski kotar museums. It attracts thousands of people each year and becomes especially popular in springtime when Frog Catchers' Night takes place.
The museum consists of several units. The first is dedicated to the vivarium with live frogs that live in this environment. The second unit is educational since it presents the frog's entire development, from spawn to adult frogs.
The museum presents also the predators endangering the frogs population, then exotic frogs from all over the world, as well as particularly precious frogs, souvenirs and toys from all over the world and the unique „Frogs' blood“ tasting.
