SUMMER AT THE CASTLE

Rijeka

During the summer months Rijeka offers a diverse cultural program staged through Trsat Castle grounds. The castle was built on the site of the former Roman lookout post to prevent the Turks from advancing during the Turkish invasion of Europe. Interesting performances featuring popular Croatian actors and artists are held within the walls of this lovely historic building. Make yourself comfortable, cool off in the summer heat between the castle walls and enjoy the performances and concerts.
