During the summer months all the squares, streets and terraces in Rijeka become a stage. Popular locations and places hardly imaginable as theatrical scenery become a setting for a variety of theatrical productions and for a couple of weeks artists delight the audiences with diverse musical and theatrical performances. The Festival program includes everything from classical plays, premiere performances of recent dramatic texts and classical music concerts, to street theatre and concerts by popular singers. The must-see part of the Festival is the one questioning the contemporary relation between the industrial architecture and the theater, so that some of the performances are held at premises of former industrial plants.
