The greatest value of Kvarner as a tourist destination are exactly its beaches, unspoilt nature and clean sea. Here you can find just the beach to suit you: arranged or natural, known or undiscovered, big or small, stone, pebble or sand ... 

Our most beautiful beaches have been awarded the Blue flags, symbols of preserved, safe and pleasant environment for holidays, entertainment and recreation, of top-grade services, clean sea, advanced equipment and development of beaches and marinas.

The European blue flag has marked fifteen beaches: in Baška, Crikvenica, Dramalj, Novi Vinodolski, Rab, Lopar, Njivice, Veli and Mali Lošinj, two in Selce and four on the island of Krk.

The Kvarner beaches are well known to naturists as well, and according to their opinion, ideal naturist beaches can be found on the islands of Cres, Krk, Lošinj and Rab.

In Rijeka, in the Kostanj Bay, a beach has been developed to suit the needs of disabled persons, equipped with all devices and with adequate access to the sea.

While in concealed bays you will find a place just for relaxation, and large beaches will offer numerous entertainment facilities, yet crystal clear sea will surround you everywhere.
