ALONG THE SPINE OF THE ISLAND OF CRES - In the Kingdom of the White Vulture

From the center of the city of Cres, we take the Porozina-Lo¹inj Road and turn left toward Porozina. We gradually ascend and at 3.5 km continue on level terrain. At 6.7 km, we pass through Vodice. At 11.0 km, the village of Predošćica is at our right. After 13.8 km, we arrive at the narrowest part of the island of Cres, where a belvedere provides a view of the eastern coast of Istria from one side and the island of Krk from the other. We turn left in the direction of Beli. After two short climbs, we begin to descend fairly steep slopes. At 17.8 km, we continue straight and arrive in Beli after 21.0 km. In Beli, you can go down to a beautiful beach, visit the Caput Insule Eco Center that has white vultures, or walk along the designated ecological paths.
