Motorsports are deeply rooted in the Kvarner region, enjoying a rich and famous past and a tradition lasting from the beginning of the 20th century.
The Grobnik Race Track (Automotodrom Grobnik), was built in 1978. Motosport lovers will be thrilled by numerous local and international motorcycle and car races featuring vehicles of different classes. Professional teams from Croatia and the entire Europe come to the Grobnik Race Track to participate in qualifying rounds, training and races.
Passionate amateur drivers also have the possibility to try out our track at particular times when Grobnik is reserved only for them. So, try out the track, test your driving skills and enjoy a race on a safe, professional racing track and not on the city streets or highways where you put yourselves and others in danger. If you are a beginner or have a wish to perfect your driving skills, the race track offers you the possibility of attending Racing School 99 and perfecting your driving technique.
The Grobnik Race Track is only 15 kilometers away from Rijeka and 24 kilometers away from Opatija. The track is located on the Zagreb - Rijeka Highway (A6). Just follow the signs for Automotodrom Grobnik and the sound of powerful engines will lead you directly to the Grobnik Race Track.
