Like Opatija, which jealously guards its traditions, but at the same time always offers something new, the Liburnia Jazz Festival is also in constant change, but allways keeping what's been gained.

Traditionally, for 12 years on, Liburnia Jazz Festival will take place in Opatija for the first weekend in July (from 6. to 8.07.) . Traditionally, Liburnia Jazz will have an exclusive, original and somewhat unusual program.

Traditionally, during the Festival all those random visitors will never know where, and how will all that jazz appear.

This year Liburnia Jazz Festival offers to its faithfull audience as many as 16 concerts on eight stages in three days. With a unique Jazz Boat, concerts at the summer stage, at the terrace of the Hotel Bristol, on midnight concerts and jam sessions in the lounge bar Monokini, this year our audience will also be able to have a jazz breakfast on the terraces of Hotel Imperial and Millenium, or enjoy a jazz dinner by the Hotel Ambassador pool. On Sunday evening, visitors will be able to choose between a free concert at Millennium or another one at the newly decorated terrace of the Hotel Kvarner.

As always, the first weekend of July in Opatija is reserved for jazz and there's no way to avoid it.
