This year's festival will be held not only in Cres but also in Vrbnik on the island Krk!

Crescendo will start in the open air theathre in Cres on Thursday, August 30th with the concert of an inventive guitar player from Rijeka, Darko Jurkovic Charlie, who will be simultaneously playing two guitars with "two hand tapping" technique. The program will continue with Astrid, who will perform for the first time some of her own songs and arrangements with her associates from the band Mildreds - slovenian guitar player Uros Rakovec and drummer Kruno Levacic from Zagreb. The festival will finish with Ru-Ka-V Trio, consisted of amazing jazz-blues singer Valerija Nikolovska,  american organ player Joe Kaplowitz, and drummer Borko Rupena, also from Zagreb. Crescendo Festival wouldn't be complete without Ruta's exhibition - this year Vesna Jakic has prepared "Banja šuga" that will embellish our stage.

The same program will be repeated in Vrbnik: the concert of Ru-Ka-V Trio on Friday, August 31nd at Placa Vrbnickog statuta, and the concerts of Darko Jurkovic Charlie and Astrid with her trio on Saturday, September 1st, at Ribarnica across the Nada restaurant. The program will begin both nights at 9 pm.
