Programme for August 2016 at Astronomical Centre Rijeka:

Usual programme at digital planetarium (August 2 – September 3, 2016):
a) Films:
- film for foreign tourists: Two Small Pieces of Glass (in English language), on Wednesdays at 8.30 pm;
- Kalouka'hina – The Enchanted Reef, on Thursdays at 7.30 pm;
b) Interactive (live) presentations:
- Safari through the Solar system, on Wednesdays at 7 pm;
- A guide to the night sky – summer; on Fridays at 7.30 pm;
- Searching for comets, on Fridays at 8.30 pm;
- The sky under us, on Saturdays at 8.30 pm.
Program in Observatory: on Saturdays at 10 pm (depends on the weather)

Regular programme is in Croatian.

Special programme:
- on the August 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 before the regular program in digital planetarium, there will be a 10-minute presentation dedicated to the Perseid meteor shower, also known as Tears of St. Lawrence;
- from June 15 to September 14, 2016, on Wednesdays at 8.30 pm it will be shown a program for foreign tourist in English language;
- on August 2, 2016, a second part of workshop Seventh heaven, organized by Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, will take place at digital planetarium by showing film Planets in Sight (in Croatian language). Registration and information for participation you can get at neva.lukic@mmsu.hr.

Admission to the planetarium: adults 20kn, children*/students/seniors – 10kn
(*ages 6+); Admission to the observatory: 10kn.
