Events calendar

Every year, in the first week of November the city of Rijeka gets taken over by puppets and their puppeteers during the Puppet Theatre Festival. Since 1996, with the organisation of the Rijeka City Puppet Theatre, the Festival has hosted a range of Croatian and foreign puppet and children’s theatres from Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia, etc. The programme includes exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and the puppet shows are both for children and adults alike.
