Mali Lošinj is the cradle of spear fishing and it was precisely here that the first world championship in spear fishing took place in 1957. During the 2-day competition in the waters of the island of Lošinj, the best spear fishing professionals will show their strength, while the most interesting part is the arrival and weighing of the catch. During weighing, the audience can participate in the lottery and perhaps take home a prize-winning fish.
