This year's edition of the Jazz Ex Tempore project explores sounds of the "Northern Silence" - it deals and compares a Croatian and Norwegian music tradition, interpreted by the language of Jazz.

Musicisans from two completely different (even in some segments also very similar) music tradition, will tell their story, share it together and will create a new music, on the spot - combining the best from both worlds.

The connecting factor is a common language, the language of the jazz - which they all speak fluently, everyone with their own accent - creating a colorful difference in a common expression and creation of the new music.

During the course of the project, the Norwegian artists will hold two music workshops in Opatija's Vila Antonio and one at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, and the concerts will take place on October 19th at the Crystal Hall of the Kvarner Hotel in Opatija and October, 20th at the Blagoje Bersa Hall at the Academy of Music in Zagreb.
