The town of Crikvenica is preparing this year's real Advent magic that will capture Crikvenica as early as December 2nd and will offer a wealth of content for all ages from theatrical performances and search for treasure hunting to the skating rink, horse carriage rides, various workshops, fairs, entertainment programms and lot of other surprises, such as the arrival of St. Nicholas, gathering and photographing with Santa Claus and the live Betlehem.

On the first Advent Sunday, December 3, in Crikvenica will be held the 7th Adria Advent Marathon. It is the only professional international marathon and half-marathon race in Europe that runs along the coast. Every year, over 1.000 runners from various European countries participate in it, who are always coming back full of great impressions.

One of the most attractive manifestations of the Advent in Crikvenica is the Palačinka'Da, where pancakes can be tasted in a large number of sweet and salty ways.

Advance events end with the unique Welcome to the old year eve on December 30th, with the sounds of numerous groups, bands and tamburitza ensembles that will rule the stage at Stjepan Radic Square.
