Events calendar

Since 1998, every year on August 15th, the city of Krk hosts an event Krk Sails (Krčka jedra) - the regatta of traditional wooden sailing boats. This sailing regatta is organised with the aim to preserve and present the rich maritime heritage of island Krk. The programme traditionally starts at noon, when the boats sail away from the Krk Pier.

After the regatta sailing part, there is an exhibition of the old sailing boats, live music and poetic recitals. And when the night falls down the unique picturesque night-time sailing in harbour begins.
