Visit the olive groves of Dubašnica, from which the top quality olive oil originates with many years of gold medals from the most prestigious exhibitions of olive oils in the world, and the only olive oil from the Kvarner area that is included in Flos Olei, a guide among the 500 best olive oils in the world.

Olive harvesting by traditional methods, tasting of olive oil, as well as other island specialties awaits you. Experience the past and the way of life of the locals with an interpretive walk and visit to cultural sights, enjoy the romantic packages and gastronomic delights of local high-class hotels, with wellness programs based on olive products.

EDUCATIONAL GASTRO & WELLNESS PROGRAMMES
Excursion program:

10 a.m. - departure from Porat, ride by tourist train to the village of Bogovići
10:30 a.m. - Dubašnica Heritage House - visit to a typical house of the area, Bogovski toš - visit to the largest traditional olive mill in Dubašnica, including the tasting of homemade brandies and cheesecakes, church of St. Apollinaris –the story of the origins of Dubašnica

11:30 a.m. - arrival at the olive grove (Porat), harvesting olives by traditional methods, tasting homemade cheese and olive oil
Olive Touch gift / souvenir

1:30 p.m. - return by tourist train to hotels

Excursions are organized every Wednesday and Saturday and accompanied by a licensed tourist guide.

The price of the excursion is 30,00 EUR per person. Tickets can be booked at the receptions of the following hotels (included in the Olive Touch programme): Luxury Hotel Riva, Hotel Malin, Hotel Pinia, Hotel Villa Rova, Hotel Villa Margaret.
