This winter, Opatija will again welcome visitors with its special Advent mood. The most romantic and festive season is the best time to get to know this famous European destination in a unique atmosphere. It’s a time when holiday magic can be felt in every corner of the town, making each experience an unforgettable one.
From 26 November to 9 January, the ‘Most Beautiful Advent by the Sea’ will bring festive cheer to the town’s famous locations, such as the Park of St James, Angiolina Park, Slatina Beach, Lungomare, the Open Air Theatre, the town market and the picturesque neighbouring fishing village of Volosko, offering a number of exciting surprises for all visitors. Thanks to the Advent programme, but also the town’s excellent restaurants, modern wellness & spa centres, the Chocolate Festival at the beginning of December, and its tradition of tourism that extends back almost two centuries, Opatija is again this winter the ideal destination for a perfect holiday.
