During the last weekend in August, for the 36th time, the port - mandracchio will host the international painting competition “Mandrać” and once again become an obligatory destination for many artists and those who feel that way.
PROGRAMME:
August 26th 2023
Little Mandrać
9 a.m. - noon - children up to 14 years of age register for the contest; participants receive the painting surface (paper) at the organizer’s desk, while they can bring their own painting utensils, to their liking. Children will compete in two categories: age 5 to 9 and age 10 to 14.
till noon - completed works competing for the prizes are turned in at the organizer’s desk
at noon - theatre play in English with Croatian subtitles "Story of the Winged Horse", performed by Pygmalion Theatre for children and youth from Volosko
at 1 p.m. - the international jury of experts presents the awards to the winners
at 8 p.m. - auction of paintings by academic painter Claudio Frank and concert: Claudio Frank (violin), Esperanza Claudia Frank (violin) and Natalya Marycheva (keyboards)

Mandrać 2023
9 a.m. - noon - registration of authors and their works competing in both, the "Mandrać 2023" and "Ex Tempore" categories, at the organizer’s desk
at 1 p.m. - authors who create on-site in the "Ex Tempore" category must present their works with the organizer’s mark at the harbour’s breakwater for evaluation by an international jury of experts
at 7 p.m. - announcement of winners and award ceremony
at 8 p.m. - concert by Boris Štok Acoustic
