The seventh edition of the History Film Festival - an international historical documentary film festival will be held from September 12th to 16th in Rijeka. Twenty films from the official competition programme will be screened in Rijeka's Art-Kino, where the audience will have the opportunity to meet and talk with numerous guest authors. The winners in nine categories will be decided by an international jury consisting of actress, screenwriter and director Lana Barić, screenwriter, director and film critic Rada Šešić and director Igor M. Toholj. At this year's History Film Festival, four films will have their world premiere, seven will have their European premiere, and nineteen will have their Croatian premiere. Apart from Rijeka, the festival will be hosted in Zora Hall in Crikvenica on September 13th and 14th.

The specificity of this year's programme is that the selected films mostly deal with historical themes and events after the Second World War.
