"Olive Days", as the first event in Croatia in which foreign and domestic tourists participate in picking olives, has been held every year since 1996. In the beginning, it was a tourist event intended for foreign tourists with the aim of extending the tourist season.

Today, the event features several programmes: a special art exhibition, a sales exhibition of tools and machines for olive growing, olive oil tastings, professional education, presentations, workshops for children... 

In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Directorate for Professional Support to Agriculture and Fisheries, a demonstration pruning in olive groves, professional education and training is organized, as well as oil presentations and tastings for olive growers, caterers and chefs, showing them how to properly use and present olive oil.
