Events calendar

This year, the festival brings the best of theater art from May 6th to 12th. It is organized by the Art Organization HKD International Small Stages Theatre Festival with the support of the City of Rijeka, the Primorje-Gorski kotar County and the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media. Eight performances from six European countries are competing for the festival awards.

The festival takes place at three locations: at the Croatian House of Culture, at the Croatian National Theatre Ivana pl. Zajca and at the Croatian Reading Room Trsat.

Since 1999, when the festival selector became theater critic and dramaturge Jasen Boko, the festival has acquired an international character. In its 28 editions so far, 300 performances have been played from 24 European countries and one performance from America.
