On Tuesday, April 30th, a new event called the Frankopan Circle will be held at Grobnik Castle, organized by the Čakavian Sabor Grobnišćine Cathedral. This event will take place in honor of the feast day of Saints Philip and James.
The event will commemorate the deaths of Fran Krsto Frankopan and Petar Zrinski, and a special feature will be the presence of a Frankopan descendant. The Frankopan Guard association is planning the arrival of Marquis Giorgio Frangipanea at Grobnik Castle.
Starting at 4:30 p.m., with the support of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the Čavle Municipality, visitors can expect two inspiring guided tours, an interesting lecture, a dramatization of Petar Zrinski's last moments in prison, and a viewing of the impressive exhibition "Get to know the Frankopans". Visitors will be able to talk to the Frankopans, take photos with them, and there will also be a catering program and a concert by Zoran Majstorović with his trio, on the occasion of World Jazz Day.
