Events calendar

Advent in Cres brings a festive atmosphere with thousands of lights, decorations, and fun programs for all generations. The events include numerous performances, concerts, traditional dishes, and activities for children.

From December 16 to December 20, there will be Christmas performances by the Girice Kindergarten, while the Frane Petrić Primary School will present their Christmas performance on December 18. The Moise Palace will host Grandma Frost, who will make Christmas ornaments and cards with children from December 20 to 22. On the 20th of April Promenade, there will be daily catering offers and entertainment, with concerts by Nos Tres (December 20), Pacha Mama Street Connection (December 21), Love Runners (December 28), and Opća Opasnost (December 29). The Cres Italian Community, PD Osoršćica, and Pešekanke will prepare traditional dishes, and on December 21, there will be a Christmas fishing event for both children and adults.

The Advent in Valun starts on December 21, featuring a traditional boat regatta and a concert by the Veljak Trio. On the 20th of April Promenade on December 21, everyone will enjoy the local cuisine and a performance by Pacha Mama Street Connection. On Sunday, December 22, the "Christmas Surprise" program will be prepared by the Cres Firefighters. On St. Stephen's Day, December 26, the Christmas concert by the Teha Klapa will be held at the Church of St. Mary the Great. Advent in Cres ends on December 31 with the traditional Farewell to the Old Year celebration in the main town square.
