🎭✨ The Carnival has begun! ✨🎭

In our tradition, the carnival starts on the feast day of St. Anthony, January 17th, with the raising of the carnival flag and the effigy of Pust in the central town square. This festive period lasts until Ash Wednesday, when Pust is ritually burned, symbolizing the "cleansing" of all the sins and misfortunes from the past year.

The highlight of the carnival celebration is always the unforgettable parade! 🎉 Groups and thousands of participants gather with creative and humorous costumes, floats, and all sorts of surprises, bringing laughter and irony to our social and political everyday life. 🤡🎉
