Till Death Do Us Part - HKD Sušak

04.04.2025. - 04.04.2025. / Rijeka

Acting legend Miki Manojlović is coming to Rijeka this spring with an exceptional play based on the text of the great Mira Furlan – "Till Death Do Us Part." This intriguing and deeply emotional family drama, with autobiographical elements, will premiere at the Croatian Cultural Centre at Sušak on Friday, April 4, at 8:00 PM.

About the Play
"Till Death Do Us Part" is Mira Furlan's first dramatic text and the directorial debut of Miki Manojlović, produced by Radionica Integracije from Belgrade. Set in 1970s Zagreb, the story explores complex family relationships, the challenges of love and growing up, as well as the inevitability of life and death. Through the lens of one family, the play reflects the socio-political atmosphere of the time and addresses the consequences of ideological divisions and historical misconceptions.

At the heart of the story are two ill women, Ljubić and her daughter Blanka, both bedridden. Their roles are played by the outstanding Serbian actresses Jasna Đuričić and Anita Mančić, while Blank’s husband, university professor Martin, portrayed by Miki Manojlović, struggles to balance family and professional obligations. Their daughter Mina, a drama student played by Jovana Gavrilović, further enriches the play’s emotional depth.
