The island of Cres proudly marks a major milestone – 180 years of tourism, and the celebratory program throughout June brings a variety of events for all generations!
🎈 June 1 – Main Celebration: 180 Years of Tourism on Cres
📍 Cres Town
🔸 5:00 PM – Cres Time Travel – a costumed interpretive walk through the town’s history
🔸 8:00 PM – Opening of the “Creski kaić” Interpretation Center, dedicated to maritime heritage
🔸 9:00 PM – Concert Night: warm-up with Macaklini followed by Jelena Rozga – performing on Cres for the first time!

A week-long event celebrating Cres’s maritime traditions and life by the sea
🔹 Traditional sailboat regatta
🔹 “Brudetijada” fish stew competition, card and bocce tournaments
🔹 Spearfishing and angling competitions
🔹 Lectures, exhibitions, and cooking of traditional island seafood dishes
🔹 Live music by Grooversi, Šajeta, and more

Cres’s old town transforms into a world of fantasy, fairy tales, and pop culture!
🔹 Witches, elves, knights, and cosplayers take over the streets
🔹 Live performances, concerts, workshops, art, and crafts
🔹 Locations: Moise Palace, Cres Tower, narrow alleys, and charming town squares
🔹 Guests: writers, actors, musicians, artists, craftspeople, and heroes from iconic sagas
