Victory in preserving the marine environment! 🌊🏆

Location: Lošinj Island
Date: April 5th - 6th, 2025

On Lošinj Island, from April 5th to 6th, 2025, an eco action for cleaning the coast and seabed called "The Sea Knows, the Island Remembers" will take place.

The main goal of the project is to raise awareness about the issue of waste on the seabed and beaches and promote sustainable solutions for marine environment conservation. Every year, hundreds of divers, volunteers, and citizens join forces to remove dozens of cubic meters of waste from the seabed and shores of Lošinj during the two-day eco action "The Sea Knows, the Island Remembers."

The action is organized by the Institute for the Blue World and the SUBSEASON Diving Center, the City of Mali Lošinj, the Mali Lošinj Tourist Board, Jadranka Tourism, and numerous associations, clubs, and others, with the goal of preserving the natural heritage of Lošinj’s seabed.

This action is not just about cleaning – it is also a call for responsible behavior towards the environment, the importance of preserving our natural resources, and the need for long-term sustainable solutions. Through cooperation and collective effort, we have proven that every small step contributes to a bigger change.

Thanks to the engagement of all participants, we have shown that love for the sea and nature has the power to initiate real change. Together, we can ensure that our shores and seabed remain clean for future generations! 🌍💚
