Omišalj–Čavle Theatre Festival

🎭 Theatre magic under the open sky!

The municipalities of Omišalj and Čavle once again proudly host the Omišalj–Čavle Theatre Festival, a cultural celebration showcasing beloved plays from Croatian theatres.

Performances alternate between the charming Prikešte Square in Omišalj and the historic Castle of Grobnik, two former Frankopan strongholds rich in tradition. In case of bad weather, shows move to Omišalj Community Centre and the Čavle Cultural Centre.
🎟️ All performances are free of charge – just come early to grab a seat!

🎭 "Dalmatian Cuisine" – PlayDrama Theatre
A heartwarming, humorous and touching story about identity, family, and everything served – and unspoken – at the dinner table.

📍Thursday, June 26 – Grobnik: Free is the Most Expensive – festival closing performance

🎭 "The Silver Forest" – for ages 5+
A magical tale about friendship, courage and a quest to lift a forest’s spell!
