The unique sandy island of Susak proudly celebrates the 40th traditional Emigrants’ Day – a heartfelt tribute to all Susak natives who emigrated over the years, returning each summer to honor their roots and community!
🌅 PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
🔸 08:00 AM – Holy Mass at St. Nicholas Church (Upper Village)
🔸 Afternoon – Fun sports & games for all ages (Lower Village)
• Wheelbarrow race
• Tug of war
• Award ceremony and medal distribution
🎂 Special Highlight: Cracking open the Lošinj “Krokant” – the famous Guinness World Record-holding dessert, in celebration of the 40th anniversary!
🎶 Cultural & Music Program:
• Parade concert by the Josip Kašman Wind Orchestra
• Traditional Susak dance “Unaj do”
• Live performance of the song “Jadrane plavi” by Dominik Malović
• Evening concert by renowned Croatian performer Oliver Jakovčev “Berekin”
• After party with DJ Fredi
