🎶 ČAnsonfest – Kastav 2025

For the 21st year in a row, the ČAnsonfest – Kastav festival of Čakavian chanson brings together outstanding musicians and authors to preserve and promote the Čakavian dialect through music.

This year’s edition will take place from August 27 to 29, and the program includes:

🖼 Wednesday, August 27 at 8:00 pm
Opening of the themed art exhibition Urban Themes at the Church of St. Trinity – featuring 18 artists from across Croatia.

🎤 Thursday, August 28 at 9:00 pm
A music and poetry night Na kastafskeh šternah at Lokvina Square – dedicated to the Čakavian and Fiuman dialects, with numerous guests and honorary citizen Nevia Rigutto.
💶 Tickets: €10 (presale) / €13 (on the day)

🎼 Friday, August 29 at 9:00 pm
Evening of New Compositions at Crekvina – the festival’s main event with 18 new Čakavian chansons. In case of rain, the event will move to the Slavko Stanić Bocce Hall.
💶 Tickets: €15 (presale) / €17 (on the day)

ČAnsonfest remains a competition-based festival, with awards for best composition, lyrics, performance, audience favorite, and best debut artist.

🎧 The festival will be broadcast live on Croatian Radio – Radio Rijeka and Radio Pula.
