Summer on Cres reaches its peak in August – a month filled with events celebrating the island’s rich heritage, culture, music and community spirit.

🎶 From magical open-air concerts in Lubenice and Valun, traditional klapa performances and theatre shows, to the spectacular Cres Fair (Creski semanj, August 5–7), a lively festival with roots going back to the 16th century – Cres in August is a stage for truly authentic experiences!

📜 In Beli, the Days of Tramuntana offer a diverse cultural and social programme, while Martinšćica hosts the beloved Fishermen’s Festival (August 1) and the Traditional Sailing Regatta (August 30).

🎭 Don’t miss the exhibitions at the Moise Palace, Cres Museum, Cres Tower, as well as the museums in Lubenice, Beli and Martinšćica – and be sure to visit the newly opened interpretation centre Creski kaić.

🏊 The month closes with the Florio Burburan Memorial – a sports programme that includes a swimming marathon, water polo, synchronised swimming and more!
