🎨 Exhibition Opening: Comic Art & Art Nouveau

The Croatian Museum of Tourism proudly presents, for the first time, the exhibition by the Belgian Comic Strip Center (Brussels) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Croatia. The exhibition explores the richness of Belgian comics – the “ninth art” – through impressive illustrations and leading authors.

Discover the long Belgian comic tradition and its connection with Art Nouveau, which originated in Belgium and shaped the visual language of Europe at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Twenty-five panels highlight the influence of Art Nouveau on comics through works by François Schuiten, Yongui Dumont, Agnès Maupré, Marc-Renier, Jean-Luc Cornette, and many others.

🕒 Museum opening hours: 10 am – 1 pm and 4 pm – 7 pm (closed on Mondays and holidays)
