🚶➡️ Camino Crikvenica Vinodol

We invite you to the first Advent edition of the Camino Crikvenica Vinodol – a special introductory walk that will take place on Sunday, 7 December 2025. This short but spiritually rich pilgrimage marks the beginning of the future four-day Camino Crikvenica Vinodol, a new 85 km route connecting Senj with Jadranovo, planned for 2026.
This December, we will set off on the first 12-km section, from Crikvenica to Jadranovo. The path follows the coastline, offering peaceful winter scenery and the serene atmosphere of Advent.
The gathering is in front of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Crikvenica, where Mass begins at 8:00 am. After Mass, participants will head toward Jadranovo, walking through the town center and along the sea to the main city beach. The route continues toward Dramalj, with beautiful views of the island of Krk and the Kvarner Bay. The walk then leads to Kačjak, a small peninsula known for its viewpoints and coves – perfect for a moment of prayer and reflection. Here begins the most attractive part of the “Wave Trail”, dedicated to the sea, its rhythms, and the bond between nature and people.
The pilgrimage ends in Jadranovo, at the church of St. James, the patron saint of pilgrims. Upon arrival, participants will be welcomed with a shared meal and organized bus transport back to Crikvenica.
This Advent Camino is an opportunity to reflect, give thanks, and prepare for Christmas – accompanied by the sound of waves and the calm of a winter morning.
