🎭 The Fifth Season – Mesopust in Dubašnica 🎭

Mesopust in Dubašnica 2026 brings the happiest time of the year, filled with laughter, music, and togetherness. From 25 January to 17 February, Dubašnica once again becomes the centre of carnival celebrations, where tradition and modern entertainment come together in a unique event for all generations.

🎉 Main programme and masquerade parties
Mesopust traditionally begins on Pavlovo, on 25 January, with the symbolic handover of the keys and the raising of the Mesopust figure. This is followed by the Dubašnica Games, a special competitive carnival event full of great atmosphere.
The start of the carnival festivities will be marked by performances by Mauro Staraj & La Banda and Grupa Point, while on Saturday, 7 February, a big masquerade party awaits with Koktelsi and Grupa Point.

🎈 Programme for children and families
On Sunday, 8 February at 3:00 pm, the Children’s Carnival Parade will take place, accompanied by Trio Vox and “Cin Cin” animators.

🎭 Parades and grand finale
On Saturday, 31 January, an organised visit to the Children’s Carnival Parade is planned, while on Sunday, 15 February, participants will attend the Rijeka Carnival – International Carnival Parade.
The grand finale takes place on Carnival Tuesday, 17 February, featuring the reading of the verdict, the burning of the Mesopust figure, the arrival of the parade, and a final celebration lasting until midnight.
