As part of the Mesopust festivities in Omišalj, we invite you to Bljak Fest 2026, a special gastronomic festival of flavours and traditions that has become an essential part of the carnival season and attracts an ever-growing number of visitors each year.

At Omišalj’s main square, Placa, you can enjoy a rich selection of authentic and slightly forgotten dishes from traditional folk cuisine – from tripe, white kidneys and pork trotters to hearty stews, sorrel and other specialties rarely found on menus, yet full of genuine flavour.
