In 2026, Rijeka once again lives its unique fifth season – Carnival. A period filled with tradition, masquerade customs, joy and a rich programme of cultural, entertainment, music, sports and humanitarian events throughout the city.
The Rijeka Carnival is a strong symbol of the city’s identity and community spirit – a manifestation written with a capital letter and lived with the whole heart, reaching its peak with the Children’s Carnival Parade and the International Carnival Parade.
