August is the ideal time for one of the oldest swimming marathons in Croatia!
🏊‍♂️ The Šilo – Crikvenica Swimming Marathon is traditionally held on August 15th, on the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, the patron saint of Crikvenica.

Swimmers race along a fixed route from Šilo on the island of Krk to Crikvenica, spanning a total length of 3,500 meters. Every year, top long-distance swimmers from Croatia and abroad take part in the marathon, but the competition is also open to all swimming enthusiasts and recreational athletes. 🌊

Come out, cheer on the swimmers, and be part of this rich sports tradition! 🏆
