The historic center of Krk Town comes alive from August 8 to 10 with the traditional Lovrečeva fair! 🏰✨ Enjoy three days packed with medieval history, local flavors, creative workshops, and major open-air concerts along the sea.
📜 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
⚔️ Medieval Living History & Workshops (Kamplin Square):
• Saturday (Aug 8) at 8:30 pm: Grand medieval parade of the Frankopan Dukes of Krk & Fire Show (9:30 PM).
• Daily: Knight equipment displays, sword fights, traditional craft workshops (glagolitic calligraphy, clay souvenirs, flower wreaths), honey extraction demos (9:30 am), and street performers.
🛍️ Traditional Fair (Kamplin, Koprivić, Veli Park, Vela Placa):
• Nearly 40 local exhibitors showcasing handmade crafts, authentic island products (Gift from Krk certificate), eco-cosmetics, cheeses, and olive oils.
🗺️ Guided Storytelling Walk "From Karst to Gold" (Free in English):
• Aug 8 & 10 at 7:30 pm: Guided historical tour including free entrance to Frankopan Castle (registration required: info@visitkrk.city).
🍷🍽️ Gastro Zones:
• Local culinary delights: traditional šurlice pasta, roasted lamb, seafood, Žlahtina wine, and local craft gin.
