🍫 20th Chocolate Festival in Opatija – The Sweetest Anniversary on Kvarner!

Opatija transforms once again into the capital of chocolate this November, celebrating a milestone anniversary – 20 years of the Chocolate Festival! The jubilee edition of Opatija’s largest and sweetest event will fill the town with irresistible flavors, aromas, workshops, music, and unique chocolate experiences for all generations.

At the Chocolate Magic fair in the Gervais Centre, around 40 leading domestic and international chocolatiers will showcase their creations, while special chocolate menus, workshops, and relaxing chocolate-based wellness treatments will be offered throughout the town.

📜 MAIN HIGHLIGHTS & PROGRAM:

• 🍫 "Chocolate Magic" Fair (Gervais Centre): Presentation of premium chocolate brands, delicacies, and latest trends by around 40 exhibitors.

• 🎉 Jubilee Spectacles: The grand celebratory "Choco Crash" and the artistic edible attraction "Opatija Camellia – Art You Can Taste".

• 🎶 Pure Chocolate (Multisensory Concert): A unique performance combining music, light, color, and a tasting of 8 specially selected Zotter pralines.

• 🕵️ Costumed & Educational Guided Tours:

  • "Sweet Secrets of Imperial Opatija" – themed walking tour in Croatian and English.

  • "Secret of the Aztec Sages: In Search of Real Chocolate" – an interactive family journey from ancient Mexico to modern chocolate.

• 🍷 Workshops & Tastings: Masterclasses for adults, a chocolate play zone for children, and wine and chocolate pairings.

• 🎈 Outdoor Entertainment & Photo Corner: Elegant stilt-walking ballerina and harlequin along the Lungomare promenade, plus a photo and music nook outside the Juraj Šporer Arts Pavilion.

• 🎂 Partner Sweet Anniversaries: Special programs celebrating 20 years of Milenij Choco World and 15 years of the Croatian Choco Concept.
